Mum's and tattoo's

Hey ladies

Any tattooed momma's??

I have 11 tattoo's now, I was spoke about in a shop the other day by an old couple 'She's a mum, she shouldn't have tattoo's on show, what example does she set, she may as well join in with the riots' I ended up turning round and informing them that I actually have 11 tattoo's, none of which can be seen unless I have a short sleeved top on or sleeve pulled up and can see my wrist one's otherwise I'd have to walk around naked for the rest to be seen. They didn't reply but why should we not have tattoo's if we're mum's??

I have 2 and have three more designed just waiting for the money to have them done, some people should learn to keep there noses out I dont see how having tattoos can make someone a bad example to there children xx

I would have reacted just like you. It is nothing to do with anyone apart from you. & what example are you setting...that its okay to be yourself? that if you want to do something then hang what socitiy thinks? Well damn...if thats the worse thing tattooed mommys do then line us up & hang us!!

I don't have any. But I don't get how someone so rude can judge other people's parenting skills based on the way they look, what kind of parent must she have been in her day.

I only have two tattoos on my wrist and side of the hand, i dont see why its so much of a problem? that old bint should keep her motuh closed where its not needed :/ its porbably becuase shes so old she cant look great with any kind of tattoo

I know the feeling! I also have 11, and have gotten some looks for them. But for me, tattoos are a part of my family, and every single one has meaning to it. I shrug it off. It's none of their business why I have tattoos (and only a couple show on me, as well), and my tats have nothing to do with my parenting skills
