Yeah, it's the usual small group of nutters. They informed the media before they did it so the photographers would be there ready - it is purposefully done to provoke a reaction. They should just be ignored but sadly have got exactly what they want.

Poppys are to show a sign of respect and remembrance for the fallen, they are not to show support of any wars past or present so burning a poppy wasn't even appropriate to what the 'protest' was supposed to be about. I am sure Afghan would be the best place for them if Britain is that bad Lol

Get over what exactly??? Get over the sheer rudeness and ignorance of a bunch of people who wished to be disrespectful to OUR British soldiers who fought and laid their lives down for us?? I don't think it's easy to get over something as disgusting as that!!

Also, it's not a tiny minority of people, quite a lot of people actually! 9/11?? 7/7? Hardly a minority is it?

These parasites need to understand that they wouldnt even be in this country and allowed the freedom of burning the poppy if it werent for the fallen ones of The Great and II World War for which we predominantly wear them.
