My 3 week old can eat for England...

My 3 week old wakes every 3 hours for a 5oz bottle!
Sometimes he doesnt drink it all, and leaves around 1oz
He can clear the bottle and be content
And other times he clears the bottle and screams for more

He weighed 8lb 4oz when born
After 11 days he weighed 8lb 12oz

Im so scared we are feeding him too much and that when he gets weighed on Thursday the HV will frown upon his weight.

Am i feeding him right or am i missing something?

if at 11 days he was 8lb 12oz, chances are he's around 10lb now. maybe a little less. bella was 9lb 4oz when she was weighed on tuesday & has 5oz about 5 times a day.
i wouldn't worry too much. you need to feed your baby what he needs

kacey was like that. She was born 8lb 9. at 5 weeks she was drinking 3 hourly and having 5oz. Dont worry if you where over feeding your baby would be sick,.
