My baby girl arrived via c-section 3.12.12 8lb 3oz :cloud9:

I didn't try all the old wife's tales of how to get labour started, it just happened and was an amazing experience even if she didn't come vaginally in the end

Lost my plug Saturday 5am and continually thought Sunday. Waters broke at 7.45pm that night and we made our way to hospital. Was 2cm dilated, baby engaged (wasn't prior) waters still going and contractions starting to get regular by 11pm.

Had to drive to next hospital 60 miles away as I was high risk. Got there was 3-4 dilated and contracting every 4mins lasting 1min. Not painful yet, uncomfy though.

Went to labour suit around 3am as wanted to eat comfy and have a little gas and air to ease the pain, but all pressure was in my bum and contractions round the front so gas and air soon didn't do much.
Had an internal not long after and then things went bonkers! Was 4cm, more waters ruptured and contractions were on top of each other  extremely painful I must say and I couldn't get comfy atal. 45mins later I was 8cm and ready to push, but obviously wasn't allowed to yet - very difficult to fight that feeling  Then, the consultant came to check my scar from previous c-sec... She wasn't happy with they pain I was having low down and the scar looked like it might rupture at one end. C-section was decided straight away to avoid anything going wrong and I was happy with this, I wanted my baby here safely.
C-section went great, she was born very quickly, crying, pink, alert and ready to feed straight away! 8lb 3oz and 59.5cm!

My VBAC experience didn't go the whole way but was an amazing experience going into labour 'naturally' and things happening on their own.

Sometimes natural will take its course when it wants to so don't think it will never happen, it does and it did for me
