My baby tickles me!

So I haven't felt any massive kicks. I am not even going to expect that till week 22-24, but I have felt tickling. I asked my midwife and she asked me to describe what I was feeling. It feels like the baby is tickling my tummy from the inside, usually down near my pubic bone or sometimes slightly higher. I had one kick I can confirm but nothing since (not worried as I know he/she is still tiny!).

Anyone else have that tickling and swear their baby is trying to make them laugh? Lol

Dana, Aww you make it sound so sweet! ive been feeling bubs move now for about 3 weeks but that was probably as i was giving him a nudge and looking for it lol! its started for me as a shifting feeling deep down in my pelvis, just starting to get little kicks now, be booting the hell out of us before we now it! My first baby was as you discribed, like being tickled from the inside with a feather!
Totally changing the subject for a sec, have you had 4 scans already? any reason for that? Hope your well hun, speak soon xxx

Yeah! I have had it happen about 3 times and its never happened with my boys.
It is low down and feels like someone is lightly tickling me and makes me jump,so funny.

Hubby looks at me like I've lost the plot LOL

I have actually had eight scans in total during my pregnancy. I had a suspected ectopic at 3 weeks pregnant, which proved to be a lot of fluid in my tummy and was causing a lot of pain. I haven't had one since week 13 now.
The baby was never affected by the fluid but when they scanned me they checked the baby too, because I would always ask I had two scans whilst in hospital having a labroscopy and six since, all because the hospital were so great they wanted to make sure I was okay and happy all along. I didn't mind, I got to see baby growing!
I also had the heartbeat measured and I had the baby measured each time. That's why its weird not being scanned now, but weird in a very GOOD way. I think thats why I am not too bothered about waiting now, as there are worse things than waiting!
Baby has been tickling all day...if it is baby? I am inclined to believe so now, as this is my first! xx

Aww I get this too - although I also feel kicks - and its so cute when he/she does this - I giggle to myself and have had a few funny looks. I feel a bit of a plonker when I explain my baby is tickling me! Its a lovely feeling though, isn't it?! x

Thanks, yes it is the most wonderful feeling. It's like your baby reassuring you. 'Listen, mummy, I know I am making less hassle than I did in trimester one, what with the sickness, but I am still here - growing quietly, I just need to give you a tickle now and again'. Lol

You know I thought I was pregnant last month but then I got what I thought was my period but now I'm starting to wonder. I've had the funniest tickling sensation on the left and right sides of my lower belly and it's tickles so much that I could literally jump up and start giggling. It tickles that much.

So I was suppose to get what I thought was my period on 10/15 and no period. So it got me wondering. I'm not going to test until the very end of the month. My partner told me that twins run in his family and I'm beginning to wonder if this is a case of vanishing twin syndrome?

I'm also having what appears to be pregnancy symptoms like the ticking, sensitive nipples, elevated BBT, a triphasic BBT chart, and of course on period.


So what do you all think? Pretty interesting stuff huh?

I too had one strong kick and the rest have felt like bubbles I love my son so much!!!
