I figured I'd share my birth story! Since I've been reading some they are so beautiful 
My water broke at 6:20am and I told my boyfriend. I decided to shower and get ready, eat breakfast, and then my boyfriend and I had to drop off his dog at his moms house. At 7;45 I was at the hospital. Laughing hysterically and really feeling great. I get wheel chaired into the registration room, they took my information and finally I was put into a room: they asked me all those questions and before I knew it I was in the labour and delivery room. Contractions didn't hurt at all until I got to 4cm... I felt them
But I continued to swallow the pain. I finally got to 5/6cm and was offered epidural. I said no because I could still hold it. Yeah right! 5 minutes later I asked for the epidural. Epidural felt weird, it burned like hell and stung. While having a contraction and being told not to move; was very uncool. Finally I got numb. It was horrible.
I couldn't feel the front of my stomach but I felt all the contractions in my butt! I felt like I had a really bad stomach virus! My contractions lessened! They went from every 5 minutes to about every 8. So they gave me meds to induce my labor. At 3:30 I felt like pushing! Unfortunatley the doctor wasn't there! But my son's heart beat was slowing down so they had to see if I could push since he epidural numbs some women. Not me! I pushed so well that the nurses told me
Not to push! That the doctor wasn't there. I kept on pushing! I couldn't help it, doctor made it on time! I had my mom, my boyfriend, the dr and 3 nurses' they were cheering me on! And I pushed my baby out! At 4:03 he was born! And placed right on top of me! My boyfriend then cut the umbilical cord! And they put him right on my chest! It was truly amazing to see what I held for 39 weeks and 4 days! A blessing!
