Quick run down for those of you who don't know me,
I had a MMC (8 weeks) & went for an ERPC on the 13th March @12w+4d
It went a bit wrong & they cut my uterine muscles 3 times, but they say I'll be OK.
I passed a lot of lining & some tissue in the 7 days after the op.

I'm still bleeding, but wasn;t sure if it was from the cuts or the MC so had my hormone levels checked

21/03 - hCG- 1123 Prog - 8.7
01/04 - hCG- 469 Prog - 6.8

So in 11 days my hCG have only halved. That's not right :hissy:

Progesterone wise, I've been tracking my temps after the first test & they did go down to normal range for me pre ov. They jumped up again on weds, so I;m guessing my progesterone also went up.
Could be ov, but with such high HCG it's very unlikely imo.

I reckon my body is still supporting some pregnancy tissue. Grrr!

On the plus side, all my other bloods came back normal & no sign of infection :yipee:

sorry, i dont know much about levels and stuff but just wanted to give you :hugs: and thats good news that there is no infection

xx

That's great to hear! I'm so glad there's no infection and that your levels are going down! I remember mine crashing and I went insane for awhile.

Soon you'll be at zero and can try again. Fingers crossed everything goes good for you Dan-O! :hugs:

 Dan-o I hope things sort them selves out for you soon.

I hope things get sorted soon for you.

Gosh Dan-O you have had a horrid time. What are they suggesting. Halfing of HCG should surely suggests that something is still remaining. What are your drs proposing?

Nothing as yet, I'm stuggling to get an appt. They might have an emergency slot on tuesday for me if I call first thing :)
I'm going to call the EPU on monday anyway & have a good wail at them.
They said to let them know if the betas don't look good.

I do wonder if my body will expel the rest on it's own, shortly tho.

I seem to have a (probably false) ovulation pattern so my progesterone might hopefully drop back down at sometime & signal a bleed to wash out the last bit.

Take a look

dano honey, it took a month for my hormones to return to 'normal'
Im gutted that things are being so dragged out for you!

Thanks sb22.
Did your bleeding go on for the month it took you hormones to go down?

I feel like I'm becoming one with my pantylines, I should have shares in 'always' by now

oh dan-o as if you havent been through enough hopefully they will soon come back down but it is good news that there is no infection though :)

I had a MC at 5 weeks - bleed was medium flow and only lasted 3 days. Thankfully though my local hosp has been amazing. I was in Monday for a scan to confirm that I had actually had a miscarriage (there was no sign of any pregnancy material in my womb when they scanned me) and because I didn't bleed as heavily as they would expect they were worried about the possibility of an ectopic so did a blood test to check, well that one came back at 190 so I was back in on Wed for another which had dropped to 173 so they had me back in on Fri for another which was 151 so I was then scanned again just to check they hadn't missed anything (which they hadn't).
I'm now playing the waiting game (and am a ticking time bomb apparently according to the Dr). As I'm well, not bleeding and not in pain they are happy to use expectant management for the moment but I'm back to the hosp in 2 weeks for another blood test and scan after which depending on the results they may recommend a one off shot of methotrexate.
So although my levels aren't as high as yrs they have pretty much plateaued and aren't dropping as significantly as the Dr would expect so I kinda just wanted to let you know that I know how you feel. My body is becoming more and more of a mystery to me as time goes on and never seems to want to do anything to make my life easier!!!!

I feel like I'm becoming one with my pantylines, I should have shares in 'always' by now

:haha: Know the feeling! After a month of bleeding I was aspiring to be like the girls on the bodyform ads and take up windsurfing or rollerskating whilst looking ecstatically happy but it didn't happen

I so hope they get to the bottom of whats happening with you at last xxx

Thanks sb22.

It did for me, and yes, always were getting plenty of income from me! In fact I ended up with chafing as i was never quite sure if id get caught out by a gush of bleeding, so often wore thick ones, and ended up chafing. i can laugh about it now.

Th e bleeding went on and on and didnt stop til the hormones were down, but the dreaded 'everyones different' will be mentioned..... sorry!

Sounds to me though you are able to laugh about the lengths we have to go to now though, and thats good. I was the sam - got pretty much used to the bleeding and sometimes forgot why it was happening, I was more bothered about it going away so I could have sex, never mind TTC. i have needs

You have had such a rough time, over such a drawn out length of time. I know our situations arent the same but it did take a while for my hormones to drop. I had an ultrasound yesterday and was so delighted ( to be point of nearly crying) when they told me the lining was building up nicely.
I think you should get on to EPU and try to get some answers. Its hard when you are at the mercy of nhs appointment scheduling!
Good luck and let us know how it goes....XXXXX

Just wanted to pop in a give you :hug:you have had such a tough time of this x x x x x x

Hey Dan-O - you have been having the most ghastly time :(. :hugs: Really hope you can get some help tomorrow. :hugs:
Will be checking in on you to see how you get on. xxx

HI Dan-o
This is all a bit bloody crappy for you isn't it!?? I really hope you can get sorted soon. No words of wisdom I'm afraid as don't really understand all the levels and stuff, but just wanted you to know I care:hugs:

Im sorry I cant help :hugs:
