Hubby and I started TTC in November 2014. First month and for the next 3 months following, I was spotting for a week before my period. Went to my doctor and she thought maybe it was an early miscarriage.
Next month it happened again but I ignored it. The third time it happened I went to the walk in clinic and he thought maybe I had an ectopic pregnncy so ran tests but everything was normal.
Finally after 4 months of happening it stopped.
But then my period was 5 days late and I got excited but I wasn't pregnant and it eventually came.
This week my period was 2 weeks late (one week late if you adjust the expected date due to previous month's late period)

My body is messing with me and I don't understand.
I am 27 years old, healthy and my husband is 26, healthy.
My period has always been like clock work. Never a day early, never a day late until we started trying.

Any ideas on what is going on?

It's hard to say... We're you on birth control or something prior to actively TTC? That can definitely mess up your cycles for awhile when you come off

Nope.
That's what the doctors asked me.
Birth control, medications...nothing.

Wow I don't have any clue... Unless the whole TTC process is stressing you out so much your cycles are changing? Definitely seems too early for your cycles to be changing of their own accord.

There are some reasons that might cause you to have irregular cycle. Did you use birth control before you trying to conceive? If yes, it might take some time for you to recover back to the normal, healthy status.

Here are the articles that I found might be useful to you:

hmm if you weren't on birth control before then it could be the stress of TTC affecting your cycles :(. Hope they settle back down soon x
