My Braxton hicks have stopped??

So from about 26 weeks I've been getting Braxton hicks every day, particularly at night when I change positions in bed. Probably about 20 every day, never painful though.

Well for the last week I have barely had any. Maybe 1-2 a day.

Now that I'm getting close to my due date I want those contractions!! But nothing's happening . Does this mean I'll go overdue?! Or why did they stop all the sudden??

No you can have a ton and go over or have none and come early
