My daughter came early...birth story

Went in for my 37 week appointment on Tuesday. Had elevated BP and major swelling. My doctor sent me over to the hospital to be admitted and induced.

They started me on pitocin and magneseum (to control BP) After maxing out in pitocin I stalled at 7 cm dilation and Wednesday morning the decision was made to have a C-section.

Emma Lillian made her appearance at 7:31 am. She was 7lbs 6 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long.

We spent all day Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and most of today in the hospital because of BP. I was finally released this afternoon.

I am happy to be home and we are both doing great.
