I have been browsing the form for a few months, gained some great tips for tcc, got my bfp in march. But was not to be, this was my first pregnancy. At 8+4weeks i woke up one morning last week to find some fresh blood when i wiped. My gp got me a early scan for the next day, i continue to bleed just small amounts of fresh blood while we agonisingly waiting for the scan. There was no hb. My husband was with me during the scan. We decided since I had began to bleed I would let it happen naturally. That night after the scan the cramps started, the bleeding got heavier, at 4 am I passed a huge clot down the toilet I was relieved as I thought it was over, cramps stopped I managed to get some sleep. But the afternoon the following day I started to get cramps again after 3 hours of cramps my baby passed onto my pad. Cramps were over and I felt deflated. I don't think I could go through that again. I am happy though that wee got two pictures of our tiny baby from the scan and the midwives at the epu were brilliant.

Thanks for listening to my story it has helped me reading through this part of the forum I am not alone.

So sorry my darling that you have been through this. Unfortunately, I have been through 2 myself (one completed and one incomplete). Nothing prepares you for the utter devastation and range of emotions that a miscarriage can bring with it.

There are lots of wonderful ladies on this forum that have been through similiar experiences unfortunately but are always here if you need to chat.

Kisses for your angel xxx

thanks ladies, I have found reading through similiar experiences to be very helpful, I had browsed through a couple of different sites but kept coming back to this site.

So sorry for your loss donelle, sending  xxxxx :hugs:

Hi Donelle,
I lost my baby at exactly the same time (8+4). It was my first much wanted pregnancy as well, and I know how devastating it is. It happened 2 1/2 weeks ago, and I have my bad times, but it does look brighter now. The beautiful pictures of the baby definitely helped- aren't they amazing? I''ve found this forum really helpful as well.
I wish there was more I could do than just send my best wishes. If you do feel the need to help, PM me any time.
