Well 11 days ago i put a thread saying i thoughts i wet myself...nope.

Turns out my waters had broke at 12.30 on 28th January at 36 weeks.

So after waiting at home to see if it was actually me weeing myself or waters going. I rang hospital at 2.00 and they told me to come in to check up. So i rang in laws to pick me up and rang hubby to tell him i think my waters have gone and im off to the hospital. At this point i was very calm and in laws and hubby were panicking. Hubby met us at the hospital and went to assessment. Waited 2 hours for someone to ask me why i was in (really!!!) so was told there was someone in front of me so will have to wait. So waited another 2 hours for a consultant to see me. So at 6pm the midwife saw me and didnt believe my waters had gone (i had gone through 3 pads by this point and was having my show and contractions was starting) waited another hour for a doctor because they STILL didnt think i was in labour. Whilst waiting and having contractions a midwife came in and asked for my name, i couldnt actually reply to her because i was mid contraction, she looked at me as though i was stupid and laughed saying "oh she has forgotten her name" (b*tch! :growlmad:) In come a Dr (huzzah!!!) and they confirmed the waters have gone but i am not in labour so will have to induce me whilst i was having contractions. At 8 she then finally examined me :happydance: and i was 3cms. So DR and midwife looking at each other and said "we best get her in the delivery suite." At this point of having being told im not in labour i might have put on my sarcastic voice and said "told you i was in labour". They both ran out and i got the NICEST midwife ever, she helped me into the wheelchair and was soo supportive i forgave the previous people. So she ran me to delivery suite where i was given gas and air. Hubby went to tell in laws what was happening, MIL came into the labour room with me and hubby and FIL went to our home to sort out baby clothes etc. So things progressed quickly from there.
At 9.15 the contractions was on top of each other, was given a shot of diamorphine and oh boy that stuff is great! So the midwife asked me if i needed to poo, been wanting to do that for about 2 hours and with the combination of drugs i shouted "I need a great big shiiiiiiiiiiit!" So i started pushing. After 1.5 hours pushing i had an episiotomy and out popped our little girl at 10.48pm weighing 6lb 14 and had a good pair of lungs on her.

She is sooo cute and she has hubby wrapped around her little finger. :cloud9:
