I have packed two bags - a medium sized trolley suitcase for all clothes, towel etc and a small holdall for toiletries etc
For Me:
2 x nightshirts
2 x huge t shirts
1 x overbump pj bottoms
8 x huge knickers
2 x sleepbras
2 x socks (prob wont wear coz of stockings)
Slippers
2 x towels (1 big , 1 small)
Dressing gown - need to get a thin one to pack
Mini toiletries
Brush + bobbles
Toothbrush
Maternity pads x 3 packs
Breast pads x 12
Baby wipes
For Baby:
7 x vests
7 x sleepsuits
2 x hats
2 x mits
2 x socks
6 x bibs
3 x muslins
2 x towels
20 x Nappies
Cotton Wool
Vaseline (to put on bum for first few changes - meconium= yuk!)
Baby Powder
I am also going to pack:
Money and change
Pen and paper
Camera
Magazine/books for me and dh
Snacks and drinks for me an dh
Bottle of Cordial (Water gets very boring very quickly!)
I have also got a bag of spares packed to be kept in the car:
Vests, sleepsuits, bibs, nappies etc for baby
Knickers, maternity pads for me
Babies going home clothes + blanket are in a carrier bag sat in car seat so dh doesnt struggle to find them!
I have packed so many vests etc for baby as my son was very sickly and mucousy and poor dh had to take things home every night to wash and dry ready to bring back in!
reading this back i actually seem quite organised (my nesting instinct is in full swing atm!) but i just dnt wanna forget anything this time!
