My iPhone won't send messages?

Anyone had this happen with their iPhone?

I've got the iPhone 4S and all my messages and picture messages keep failing to send. Just says Not Delivered-anyone any ideas how to fix it?

Is it trying to send an iMessage? Mine don't work half the time so I turn iMessage off in settings and send as a text.

Have you tried turning the phone off? That fixes glitches in mine occasionally.

Have you hard reset it (not sure how familiar you are with iPhones, but it doesn't delete anything) by holding the home button and lock button until the screen goes black and then comes back up with the apple logo - about 20 seconds. If it's an iMessage, do you have wifi/3G?
