Helloo ![flower :flower: :flower:](/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/flower.gif)
My little boy was due on the 18th of September but decided to make an appearance a few days earlier than expected!!
I started getting contractions whilst visiting some family during the day last Saturday, and didn't really think much of them!! I carried on my day as normal, even though they were getting stronger very quickly! At about 5pm I couldn't take it anymore and went to the hospital. I was put on a monitor and the midwife said that the graph printed showed that the baby was moving, and it didn't look like I was having contractions. I was so disappointed!! She then gave me an internal examination and said that I was 7cm's dilated, and my membranes were "bulging".
I got taken to the delivery room (which was bigger than my whole house! haha). After that the rest of it seems like a big blur! I can remember the gas and air making me feel sick so I refused to have any, but i soon changed my mind as labour went on!
6 hours of labour, 20 minutes of pushing and about 20 stitches later, my little boy was in my arms!
Weighing 6lbs 10oz.
Never been so happy and proud in my life!
