Name Opinion???

Hi Ladies!!

Me and OH are really struggling with names for our little girl!

I really like girly sounding names like Lilly, Millie etc...but cant have either of those as Lilly Wright sounds like Lilly White! and I was quite badly bullied at school by a girl names Millie...

We are having Gwen as a middle name as it's my OH's Nan's name who is no longer with us.

So...I'm thinking...

Tillie Gwen Wright

What do you think???? xxx

I think Lilia is cute too, but she would no doubt be shortened to Lilly and then we're back to square one!! xxx

My nine year old is Tilly, so I'm a bit partial. My great grandmother was Matilda, and hubby's great grandmother was Teophilia (!), but both were called Tilly as nicknames. It really suits our girl! We didn't go with Matilda or Teophilia, but her official name is actually Elizabeth. It's a big fmaily name on both sides, and we figured it already had the corner on zillions of nicknames, so we'd add Tilly to the list! She didn't even know she was called Elizabeth until she started school - she is and always has been Tilly, but she's set if she wants to be a corporate lawyer or something.

Gwen is a lovely middle name, too!

I love the names Millie, Lilly and Tilly! I wanted Lilly for my Daughter but it's what the family call my aunt Elizabeth for short and my sister Milena is called Millie for short so we went with Tilly for my daughter "Tilly-Paige" and i think Tilly Gwen is lovely!
