Causing endless arguments (not serious ones :) ) in our house.

I can hardly find any boys names i like, anything the other half suggests i hate and he hates everything I suggest.

we have only come up with a few

i like

Oscar
Xander
Aston
Dylan

he likes

Dominic
Peter

and a few others i cant remember but dont like

But even the names I have mentioned above I cant say I think - yeah, thats the one, I really love it.

I have a list as long as my arm for pretty, lovely girls names - why are boys so difficult!?

i had the same problem before we knew what we were having, it was more difficult to choose a boys name for us, but we are having a girl so we dont have to worry now!

I really like all the names that you and your OH have chosen especially Dylan. We had the following as possibles;

Branden
George
Marley
Joshua
Jake

We had the same problem, before we knew we were having a girl we had two boys names picked that we were 100% agreed on, Joseph and Oliver, and we couldnt agree on one girls name, and we are having a girl :dohh:, we now have a list of 4 possibilites, after lots of arguing and changing our minds . xx

I think Peter is a great name.

could you compromise with Dylan Peter? I also like Xander and Oscar.

i like Dylan the best...like others said compromise and have one of his names as a middle? x

Thanks everyone!

I guess we'll just have to see if we can agree on something!! He really does not like Dylan, his mum hates it too and so im not allowed it :(

Too many people having opinions is causing the problem i think!!

love Xander I still want it to be my LOs first name that but I will be spelling it Zander :) but my DH seems to not like it as well :( but Im thinking Im still gonna get my way!

I wouldnt be letting other family members know what names your discussing until you have a definate name in mind as too many people with their opinions in the way will just make it so much harder...I hope you can come to an agreement soon :)

:devil:All the more reason to call him Dylan if you ask me lol, dont let MIL's or anyone pursuade you, its your choice

Like Aston and Dylan - what about Luke, Sean, Alex -

Definately not Kai Wayne!!!!

lol, that made me laugh.

I like Alexander- so that it can be shortened to xander at my leisure :) but not so keen on alex on its own - which i know it would be shortened to.

I have a brother called sean, and I dont like luke (well i do) but i am from a scottish background and some of my relatives have the broadest glasweigen accent and it it a very harsh sounding name when they say it so I coudnt bare that.

See - its so difficult!!

I do like Aston but think will get endless comments of people saying 'like the car then' well no actually but whatever.

Im not saying anything about names to anyone now - which seems to be annoying them even more hee hee

What about Alexander with Xander as a nickname?

I really like your husband's choice of Dominic... i think it is classic & masculine. Plus you could shorten it to Dom, Nic, or Nicky. Or even Nico. Lots of possibilities!

I've always liked the names Ashton, Dylan, & Zander too!

I also find it much easier to choose little girl's names!!

Some of my fav boy's names are: Jayden, Noah, Caden, Logan, Brandon, Liam, Landon, Riley, Tyler, Kyler... Like any of those?

The reason I couldnt have dominic is because of it being shortened to Dom - think it sounds horrible, if I could be assured it wouldnt be shortened I would be inclined to say ok, however the part of the country we live in people are incapable of saying whole names... Ever.

E.g, My name is Lana (4 letters for goodness sake) I am on a regular basis called....... Lan, Its so lazy!!!!!! Just add the extra A!!!!

Rant over lol

I like caden a lot - however, if we ever get round to having another girl I really would like to call her caidance - although again, that would be a battle and a half!

we're the same! I like Dylan and OH doesn't.

I love Lennox at the minute but he's poo pooed that one. I'm thinking about Carwyn as well, as OH THINKS he's welsh (he's not, his Dad and Aunty are)

for boys i like Casper, Kai, Courtney, Bailey and Shay
His middle name is going to be Alfie if its a boy

for girls i like Coco Summer, Kitty, Tilly and Annabele Rose

im so so sure ive got a boy tho!
x
