Nappy rash? or something else? worried

My son has been having this for a while now.

Probably TMI but:

The affected part is his bum.. not really bum but the inside area of the bum.. like where popoo comes out from (anus & around)? anyway, its always red and hot. If he doess popoo I always wash him, I dont use wet wipes at home.. only if we are out.. Everytime I wash him and dry, its red and hot. I put on it nappy rash cream but I dont know why its always there.

Can someone help me figure whats that?

Could be thrush?

Maybe show a doctor, and they can see if it's anything to worry about

trush?? shouldnt trush have funguis? white stuff?

i dont know if hes teething because runnier teething poo's cause nasty nappy rashes?

Perianal dermatitis: This type of rash appears as a bright to dark redness around the anus. The stools of bottle fed babies being more alkaline than normal are sometimes the cause it. This rash will usually not appear with breast fed babies until after solids are introduced.

thrush on the bum tends to be red and shinyish ive never noticed it to have any fungus on it it might be that but i would show the gp to check xx
