Hi Jenn jenn,

Of course there is a possibility of having a natural labour after 2 x c-sect. There are bases to cover though. I would suggest read up on all the information on the internet you can find on vbac+2 and vbacs. You will need to find a midwife who is agreeable to caring for you. If possible you will also need to find an ob too, which is a tough one.

I am due April 6th and am attempting a vbac+2 . There is a lot of hoo ha about uterine rupture. Most doctors will hit you with a big fat no it's not possible for this reason, but really if you are healthy and are having a healthy pregnancy the chances are extremely low, and most ruptures are minor. Only in very rare cases is there a complete rupture. You are more likely to have other complications, especially if you have to have a repeat c-section.

So I would gather all your evidence and take that with you to the doctors. Legally I don't believe they can refuse you care, but of course it is much more enjoyable and calming if you have them on your side. And fight for what you want. I am sure there are ladies here that have succesfully vbac'd that can advise you better than I.

I am using a community midwife and labouring in a public hospital in case of any issues. I'm hopeful of a successful vbac, but of course if anything should arise I'l do whats best for me and bubs.

Oh and if you do head in that direction really beware of the way you labour. Natural , drug free is best I have been advised. Induction raises probability of rupture and pain relief (epi and such) can slow and even stop your labour which will of course get the panicky doctors in your face for a repeat c-sect.

Good luck!
