Natural third stage

Hi im just looking for some advice please.

Im just writing my birth plan and want a water birth with natural third stage. Would you stay in the pool to deliver the placenta or do it on dry land? Im thinking just to stay in the pool but was wondering if there is any reason/ benefit to get out and deliver the placenta?

Wait and see! You might be ready to get out or you might be enjoying snuggling your newborn. There's no reason you cant just do what feels right at the time
