need advice on a dress i need to wear to wedding

my friends getting married in a big hotel
and the theme of the wedding is green my least favorite colour...
anyway, because my skin is tan ..really tan (I'm Asian) it's hard to find a nice green that suits me
I've been looking for days and just found this one on ebay

It's gorgeous, though if you don't feel happy in green could you wear something neutral like black or charcoal and accessorise with green?

Weddings where they tell you what to wear is a real bug bear of mine... its hard enough for many people to find an outfit they feel comfortable in/like/can afford without narrowing it down to one colour you're allowed to wear. Not to mention they might want to wear something they already own rather than buy new, but they don't own anything that colour. Grrr.. not the point of the thread I know lol sorry!

I think the dress is stunning, up to you if you think you would be happy in it.

That dress looks lovely. If you want another option, an Asian friend of mine wore a dress similar to this one recently, and the colour looked beautiful against her skin.

Do you HAVE to wear green? I've never heard of someone having a colour scheme that the guests have to wear! I wouldn't be happy about that,. People are bound to wind up wearing the same thing! Xx
