Need advice TTC and feeling all alone

Hi all, I am also new to this site. I've been married for three years and been trying hard to conceive for the last six months, although prob broody for two years I have tried the ovulation tests etc but still nothing while all around seem to be pregnant and while i am happy for them i do wish for my own bundle of joy.

I used to be on the depo but came off it over three years ago. Just wondering if anybody has any tips, my periods are irregular and while the ovulations tests come up positive i might not get my period for three weeks afterwards but i heard that it always comes two weeks afterwards? sorry for rambling but would appreciate some advice.

The LP should normally be around 12-14 days but it does vary from person to person. I know that the Depo jab can cause issues with the drugs taking their time to leave your body. I would definitely suggest charting with your temps as well as OPKs to get a better idea of when you are ovulating and following the 'every 2 day' rule with .

At the end of the day you have a 1 in 4 chance of getting pregnant each month and the stats are that 80% of people will be pregnant after 12 months ttc. It may just be you need a little bit longer ttc is all.

If it gets to the 10 month stage and there is no i would look at speaking to your GP re tests.

My friend was on depo and it took her just over 2 years to fall pregnant but now they have 2 lovely little girls
