Need guidance on conceiving

Greetings all,

My wife and I has been trying to conceive for the past 2 months now with no luck. We have a few questions that we hope some of you can provide assistance with.

1) On average, how many tries a normal healthy couple ages between 28-31 should make before being able to conceive?

2) How effective is the HCG test before a missed period? Some HCG tests claims 6 days after intercourse - is that true?

3) We have tried ovulation tests for several consecutive days during the projected fertile period, but the test turned out to be negative - only one of the test showed a fade line but not a darker line as outlined in the test guide.

4) My wife's pre-menstrual symptom usually start with both of her breasts aching some 10 days prior. If she's pregnant, will she still experience that pre-menstrual symptom?

a healthy couple should try for a year before considering infertility treatments. I recommend a checkup however before trying to concieve.
I have heard that average time to get pg is about 4 cycles.
The early hcg tests are only able to detect levels about 6 days before the missed AF and even tho may give a false negative. The best way to take a test is on the day of missed AF even tho I know all that waiting is quite difficult.
The pre AF symptoms that your wife gets may still occur if she is pg or they may not. It can go either way and thats totally ok. Some ppl get intense symptoms and others get none at all till after a
Long story short, this process is not black and white like some other things in life. You just have to have a little faith.
