Need Help, Questions about FF

So my son is 3mos old and has had formula only a few times, and me and my OH are feeling like the switch is coming soon. My entire pregnancy I knew I wanted to breastfeed, so I didn't research anything about FF, I even told people not to give me bottles, so ya I'm gonna be honest I'm really hesitant about formula, is more of I'm unsure, I don't know what is? What is it? What's the best (american) kind? What are good bottles that don't cost a lot? Any information about FF would be great? How much formula do you give at 3mos?

hi sorry cant help you with the formula kind as im in uk!

we use dr browns bottles but they are quite expensive. we changed to these as lo had loads of wind problems when he was little but now he's a bit older it probably wouldnt affect him the same and ur past the stage of colic etc so dont think therell be any need to go for expensive bottles?
