Need some advice before clomid

Hi girls,

Just wanted to ask your advice on what is best to do before starting on clomid. I'll give you a bit of background.

We have a son who is 4 in April, he was concieved quite by surprise. We started ttc #2 when he was 15 months, big fat nothing happened for 10 months then I got place on nursing course so stopped trying. we have since got married and started ttc again. It has now been 6 months and we have been referred to fs. We are both 30. After 16 cycles of nothing I've had blood work done, they seem satisfied with the results. I'm having tube dye test next month and husband having SA. We have an appointment in April to commence clomid if all results say its ok.

I'm taking b vits and agnus castus at the moment to lengthen a short luteal phase (self diagnosed) its now gone from 9 days to 11. I know I need to stop AC before clomid but any idea how long before??? Also is it better to stop the bvits too so my body is in natural state?

Any advice welcome xx

yup, stop the AC. It works if I remember right by increasing estrogen, which is what is triggered by clomid. you can use one or the other really.

hi.....glad you are being taken seriously & getting help.....i had the tube test last sept, really nothing to worry about. Just take some paracetomol b4 you have the procedure just incase...i had slight cramping while the balloon was being blown up but that was it. I have been taking clomid since end of oct & started b vit 50 complex at end of nov.....they are fine to take with clomid but yes def stop the AC b4 clomid. xx

you think i should stop the AC now just in case it takes the whole 3 months to get out my system? I think it helped with the spotting I get and even though i'm ovulating late still (cd18) I've had 28 day cycle each time, no variation like normal. Mind you guess the bvits and reflexology could also be helping with that, no way of really knowing is there?
