need some help interpreting!!

So I have a 27/28 day cycle. On Monday, day 12, I took an Lh test and to my surprise was a happy face! I took another test 2 days later under the same circumstances and it was negative. The next days, days 14 and 15, I started to have ewcm. I guess the weird thing is is that on day 17, on a whim, I decided to take another Lh test and it was positive! Now I have ewcm again. I have no idea when ovulation takes place so it makes dtd planning really hard! If anyone has any insight, that would be lovely!

I think you can get a LH surge, but then not actually ovulate. And if you don't ovulate, you can get another surge during your cycle. That's potentially what could have happened.

I reccomend charting your temperature though - it's the only way to know for sure if you have ovulated or not.

I put off charting my temps for ages, and just relied on mostly 'guess work' to determine when I ovulated. Now I know exactly when I have ovulated, and exactly where I am in my cycle.
