I swore I saw a bunch of threads about how to take them but now I can't find them.

I have a bottle and I was told to take between 100- 200mg daily and that I could take it cd1-5, cd3-7, or cd5-9.

I took clomid for 6 cycles 150mg and nothing so, I'm wondering if I should start with the 200mg?

Can somebody confirm this is correct for me, before I just start popping Soy pills? lol

I have done two soy cycles...as well as Clomid and Tamoxifen.

My first soy cycle I took it CD3-7, bc my Clomid was on that schedule...165,165,220,220,220. The pills I had at the time were 55mg each and I think I over stimulated, even though I did OV on CD12.

This time I am taking CD2-6, 80mg.

I do OV on my own, I was just hoping to boost it a little.

I O on my own too...I just haven't had any luck catching the egg so I hope this helps.

I always took my clomid CD1-5 because I wouldn't O until after CD20-21 if I took the Clomid CD3-7 or CD5-9, so I'm trying to avoid a late ovulation. Off the Clomid I O CD15/16 so I'm hoping to keep that the same.

How are you?! I feel like I haven't talked to you in a while :)

I'm still here, lol. I am in 'that place.' You know, the one where you want to quit, but ya just can't bring yourself to do it, lol.

How are you? :hugs:

Exactly the same as you. 21 cycles, 5 miscarriages, and no hope left. lol AF showed up 4 days early this month [awesome] after 2 vaguely positive HPTs yesterday [awesome evaps obviously]

I'm just tired of being happy for everyone else who is pregnant. lol sorry, I know that must sound awful!

Nope...it sounds very realistic and I like the fact that you're woman enough to say it, lol. :hugs:

On the one hand, I am logical enough to realize that if someone gets a BFP before me, it doesn't mean she is 'taking' mine, but at the same time...I become a jealous :mamafy:.

So, I continue to ](*,) and try yet another new pill...

Like you, OV is not my issue at all...I just can't stay pregnant.

*sigh*

Yeah, it sounds like we have the very same problems. Nice to know I'm not alone in this though.

We can't even get help through the military because we're in Japan, so we have to wait until we're back in the states to see a specialist and do IVF or IUI. I'm just so fed up with it all, and to top it off I'm PMSing and really mad at the world. lol

Another year or two depending...I just hate having to wait that long for medical help.

:hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

That really sucks! Any chance of paying privately for treatments in Japan?

Hello,
I'm sorry to jump in on your thread, but just hoping to get some advice. I think I O on my own (I have temped in the past and have clear shifts) but I'm wondering if soy would help me, I have been ttc over 2 years ntnp a few years before that...my only concern is I've heard it can delay O? I am taking vitex and bought softcups (terrified to use them though-what if my fingers aren't long enough?:haha:) I'm trying to amp everything up so I don't have to follow through with all the scary anxiety inducing testing through the fs. Thanks for any help you can offer!
So sorry about your mc's...it must be so devastating, I won't even pretend to understand :hugs:

Soft cups don't go up that high but I've found that they are really messy to use.
That later in your cycle you take the Soy [i.e. CD5-9] the later you're going to O.

If you take the Soy Cd1-5 you'll O earlier/

Hi! How long have you been taking vitex; I have heard that it can take up to three months to work...I have also read some horror stories, so please be careful.

Soy seems to go both ways, for me, my OV moved up 2 days, but it could delay it as well.

I won't get started on the Softcups, lol. I might not sleep tonight if I think about them, lol. :haha:

All I can say, is the only way to find out, is trial and error. But, if you just started vitex, I would recommend you wait until you are entirely sure how it affects you before adding in anything else to your regimen. I firmly believe, one new supplement/drug at a time.

Fx'd! :hugs:

Thanks for the help ladies! I am using vitex in a supplement called estrosmart-it is branded as also being great for painful periods, which I suffer from big time! I initially went to buy evening primrose, then heard horror stories about that! Gahhhhhhh this stuff WILL drive me mad if I give it half a chance!! What are the problems associated with vitex? Do I even want to know lol?!?

I am not an expert on vitex, but there are threads out there where it has reeked havoc on cycles...EPO gave me an 18LP...totally useless to have one that long without a BFP, lol.

Here's my word of caution for the night...you will read plenty of stories about the latest and greatest supplement that someone used and got a BFP; could be the supplement, could be pure coincidence. Please research anything you decide to take and don't look to diagnose yourself over the internet.:flower:

I agree totally dmom, I have been good about not doing all kinds of random things I read about, I'm just getting desperate bc I have given myself a deadline before going ahead with medical intervention. Thanks for your advice and fingers crossed for us this month:thumbup:
