Hi all.
Just a quick update.
I lost my bean when I shouldn't been 12 weeks, baby stopped growing at 7 weeks. Had an ERPC almost 8 weeks ago and only justgot a bfn last Tuesday. I'm still bleeding every day and am soooo frustrated.

Can anyone offer any advice cos I just feel this is never ending. I feel very alone at the mo. My oh is wonderful but doesn't get me at all. My best friend and I aren't speaking cos she found out she was pregnant a couple of days after I lost my LO and it was just too difficult for me to deal with so I sometimes feel I'm alone in my grief, pain and frustration.

Sorry for rambling but I know this is the best place to do so !!

Sorry for your loss sweetie :hugs:
Did your doc tell you how long to expect the bleeding to last? I've not had an ERPC myself so I don't know how long is normal.
I know its hard when people around you are getting pregnant. Have you spoken to your friend since? She may not seem to be the best person to provide a shoulder to cry on but if you were close then she will know you well and it may help to have someone to talk to who knows how you "tick". I completely understand if you're not up to this at the moment though.
I hope you're feeling happier soon. Big *hugs* for you x

:hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

I'm afraid I don't have much advice besides talking with your doctor. I hope you start feeling better soon!

:hugs: I can only imagine how frustrated you must be by things taking so long. But try to look at the bright side: you've got your bfn now so you'll probably ovulate in a week or two and get your cycles back shortly after. Are you ttc again or are you waiting a few cycles? DH and I started trying straight away, as there was no medical reason not to and I couldn't have coped with just waiting around. We actually missed my first ovulation, as I didn't use opks soon enough and didn't have many signs. But this cycle (first proper one after mmc beginning of September) seems to be relatively normal, ovulation around day 14 and lots of signs. So if you want to try straight away, I'd suggest opks starting today. But either way, your body is going to get back to normal very soon now, try to think positive. :hugs:

Thanks girls. I really appreciate your advice.

I've decided to think positively. At least I have the bfn I've been hoping for.

I'm still bleeding and am going to go to the docs on Tuesday when it's my day off. See what he says.

I've spoken to my best friend and explained how difficult it's been but it's not her fault. I think I was envious too because it took me 11 months to conceive, only 2 for her!!

Any way, Thanks again xx

Oh love you have been through the mill so sorry :hugs:. If I'd seen you'd been bleeding all this time before I would have said go back to your doctor as that bleed is too long. I'm guessing as you've only had a bfn recently you retained some tissue which was giving you the positives. Sounds like you have passed it though so if you don't stop in the next few days you must go back. I had my erpc in Sept and didn't bleed at all really just a few spots of dark blood about a week after and some fresh on the day of the erpc. As for your best friend, you'l feel ready at some point to make contact. x

Thanks Pippin and nice to "see" you!

I definitely retained tissue, a very large clot passed approx 2 weeks ago. So large I almost passed out with the shock. I had to leave work yet again. That's when the bleeding started back up again and hasn't stopped since. I was only spotting on and off before that but bled for about 3 weeks after the ERPC.

I'm definitely going to go back to the doctors though. I just feel so useless and frustrated because I'm eager to start TTC again.

Good to see you're well and truly back on the TTC bandwagon hehe !!
Love Em x

That makes sense why you were getting the positives. My hospital said if I had a positive after 10 days to go back immediately. I'm really annoyed you didn't get the same advice, but moving onwards I'm so glad you passed the clot even if it was a bit scary. I wonder if you are having a period now the clot has passed, mine was a bit heavy but only a day longer. Worth talking it over with the GP or even giving the hospital a ring and see what they say as they are more specialist than the general doc.

I am back on the TTC bandwagon but nervously. Trying to take it casually so I don't get too disappointed when I see a few bfn's!

Keep us updated. xxx
