I am still really early but already nervous about having a c-section. I had one with my daughter 10 years ago. Apparently I have a low pelvis so it would be hard for me to pass a big baby..My daughter was over 9 lbs.

For those who have had 2+ c-sections, was it easier the 2nd time around? I remember I healed pretty quick the last time. I am 10 years older now and just really nervous about it.. :(

I feel the same way. I had one less than a year ago, and I'm getting very nervous about it. Anxious to see the responses here. xx

I won't lie, I found the second one harder. Not sure why exactly? I just seemed to be less mobile and in more pain.

I still would say I had an easy recovery though, just not as easy as the first.

I really hate to say, but I definitely think that multiple c sections get harder and harder. my 1st one 15 years ago was a breeze, no problem. My 2nd one 7 years ago was no picnic. I remember being in pain for over 2 weeks that time. I'm not sure why it is. Maybe it's harder for scar tissue to heal? Maybe age? I don't know, but I am so scared to have another one and I'm not even pregnant yet. I wish there was another alternative.

I'm about to have my 4th section, and I have found all of them really positive. We'll see how this one goes!
I guess everyone is different. I just went in with the same attitude to each one. Up and about ASAP. Keep on top of your pain, don't let it set in. There are no medals for suffering! However, know your limits. Be sensible about things. x

I recovered so much better after my second section but that could of been as it was planned, my first was a emergency and didn't go great :flower:

My second c-section recovery seemed to be longer and more painful. This time around I managed to split my stiches and get a lovely infection! The operation itself was fine though, relaxing almost!

Both mine were EMCS, but as I was monitored during labour with DS2, the second was more controlled.

I recovered quicker physically and emotionally second time around, bit that could be because labour was shorter, there were fewer complications and I was prepared for it.
