nesting ..

Is it actually a sign that youre going to go into labour soon, or just a myth?
Ive been feeling really odd the past couple of days, & my motherly instinct kicking in really tells me it wont be long.

Today i've ...
Rearranged all my room
Sorted out my wardrobes
Sorted out my drawers
Cleaned all my walls
Scrubbed the carpet
Sorted out Lo's draws
Sorted out Lo's wardobe
& sorted out the airing cupboard ...

Thats more in 1 day than ive done in the past year!

Some women swear on it being a sign of labor! I never nested, wish I did! Could've gotten a lot done!

It might be... but I think I've been nesting since like 20 weeks - I keep everything spotless, just in case he decides to make his arrival and I don't have time to tidy up!

Not sure if it's a myth or not but i've been exactly the same these last few days!

Laila's cot is all set up
All clothes have been washed
Drawers have been sorted out
Been shopping for hospital bag
Hospital bags are in the process of being packed
and the bedroom has been rearranged

Just a waiting game now... Can't wait till July!!!

Ive also washed all her clothes,
did a mad run to tesco when i realised i don't have many newborn clothes to take to the hospital & bought some formula just in case.
I literally have nothing left to do - but i swear it won't be long for me now, i feel so 'different' its hard to explain x

I'm not sure but i hope it means your LO won't keep you waiting too long. I wish i could get everything done right now but i just can't which is irritating but i'm still early on so hopefully i'll get it all done before LO makes his appearence.

i really don't feel up to doing anything, the place is just cluttered with baby things and i'm due in 2 1/2 weeks, i need to get up off my bum!

I've been told that nesting is a sign of labour and if that's the case, I won't be going into labour anytime soon! I think it's just an old wive's tale though.

I only nested a few times which was re-folding all Oakley's clothes over and over and scrubbing the whole kitchen... even cleaned out the oven

I had only a day of nesting, I think it can happen at anytime during pregnancy so in my opinion it's a myth

I hope not, I haven't nested in the slightest, im too tired for it and the only time I tidy is when im in a bad mood
