Hey :)
I'm new here. I've been TTC since October 2012 for the first time. I've had no luck so far. :( I took 'The Pill' for only two months before deciding to stop taking it so I could become pregnant. I was using the 'mucus watch' to track my ovulation - no success. I tried cheap ovulation tests for the past few months, again with no success. So the other day I brought Clearblue Digital Ovulation Test - I was wondering has anyone tried these? What was your experience? (I haven't started using them yet as I'm just finishing my period).

Unrelated question: when asked how long your cycles are (e.g, 28 days) do you always go on the average? For example some months it's 27, others 28 and odd one of 26? I track my cycles/period with an app on my mobile, it says my average is 26 days - so when asked do I give them my average?

Thanks.

I only use those. Cheapies don't work for me. I usually start testing on cd10 and get smiley face on cd13. I am on 25-26 day cycle

I use the clearblue digital ones too and love them. If your cycles fluctuate I would go with the average. This is my second month using them but, my first month I started on cd8 just cause I had no idea when I O and didn't want to miss it. This month I started them today cd12. I usually have a 30-31 day cycle so I should get a smiley face on cd18/19.

Good luck!!

P.S Forgot to say...welcome to BNB!!! You will find lots of great advice and friendly people on here :)

I agree with Crosby the cheap opks don't work for me but the clear blue smilies do. And the more I've been ttc I can spot my ovulation I get ovulation pain.
