New here... feeling let down

I am new on this website and forum. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 8 months. I am reaching out because I'm not really sure how to process the emotions that accompany this journey. I feel out of sorts and disappointed. I have recently overcome a very significant struggle that I endured for ten years and fear the same emotions that came with that struggle. I am just looking to reach out and hopefully be able to connect with someone who can relate to my situation.

Hey love, you won't be alone here I can assure you - many other people on the journey, feeling, I am sure, the same or similar emotions.

We are heading into month three of trying and it feels like it has been a long long process! I have a lot of anxiety and stress and worry about not being able to get pregnant naturally. Not sure why but I'm worrying myself silly.

I hope that you find people here you can talk to, find some threads to post in, there are so many lovely ladies here! Everyone is the best! I have found such great support & it gets me through days like today when AF arrives despite us doing all we could.

Hi, I can relate. We've been TTC #1 for a year, and each month it gets harder and harder to keep going, especially when everyone around us seems to be getting pregnant! It's tougher than I ever thought it would be.

Fingers crossed it happens for us all soon!

Hi C, welcome.

I'm new here too, and got on the boards because I was feeling stressed and didn't want to keep piling my woes on my DH.

I think it's normal to feel frustrated. This morning I was so angry and bitter, and I'm only on CD20, 5DPO. I'm expecting AF on the 17th, and I just want it to get here, get it over with for this cycle, and be able to start the next round of trying. I think we missed our window this month, but I suppose it's still possible that we got lucky and will have a little bean stick.
