Here is the email reply I got from Hipp regarding the new formula. xx
Thank you for your e.mail enquiry concerning the forthcoming release of our new HiPP Combiotic range of formula milks.
We have added "friendly bacteria" to the new HiPP formulas to bring the powdered version another step closer to the nutritional composition of breastmilk. These probiotics have been added to our First Infant, Hungry Infant, Follow on and Growing Up Milks - in the powdered formats. They have not been added to the ready to feed milks as unfortunately, the temperatures used to make the ready to feed milks destroy the "friendly bacteria", so it is impossible to add them at the moment. We could add the "friendly bacteria" to the ready to feed milks after the ultra high heat treatment, but then the milks would need to be refrigerated at all times. The Starter Packs are also ready to feeds and therefore will remain the same.
All of our range will now be marketed under the trade mark of "Combiotic" - but only the powdered versions mentioned above will contain the "friendly bacteria".
We are hoping that these milks will be available by the beginning of August - but this does depend on the stock situation of the retailers, but once they have sold through all of our current formulation - then this will be replaced with our Combiotic milks.
We hope we have answered your queries, but if we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us again.
Kind regards
