New Laptop?

I really need a new laptop! I dont have a clue what to look for and my OH is away for 2wks (to impatient to wait for him getting back). Dont really want to spend much more than £500.

I only use it for iphone/pod, banking, shopping, Facebook, MSN etc Any recomendations or advice before before I get hounded by salesmen?

Comet ...I got mine from the reconditioned ones ...it still comes with 12 months warranty and ive had no problems with it

Dell Laptops are very good you cant go wrong with dells at all..
