New campaign that features a same sex couple, a single mum and a teen couple

Really impressed that advertising is moving in this direction, although personally find the greyish, washed out colours a little too severe and 'woah, shock factor!!'. Guess it's still a controversial step though. What do you think? Is it a big deal that advertising uses hetrosexual, twenty-something couples in nearly all advertising of a family nature?

Love the idea! Being a young parent I always feel all advertising is aimed at 'the perfect family'. Its nice to be included lol xx

I really really like it, it is about time other family set ups than the typical "stable, mid-late 20s and 30s Mum and Dad" types were shown as a norm... Which in the UK they really are. I love them all, but think its a really great step for single Mums and young couples who are far more common that same sex yet have seemingly been taboo still. Not saying t isn't a huge step for same sex couples, it is just as much so. But I see the other 2 as a much bigger group who have been neglected for a shameful amount of time really for their size xx

It is good that they're moving away from the usual stereotypes. It's usually a mum, dad, boy and girl being advertised everywhere!

It's not just family advertising, it's absolutely ALL advertising. Apparently gay people don't have kids/drink coke/go to McDonalds. Advertising that features anything other than the "norm" is a massive step forwards. I know that I am much more likely to give my money to a company that aims its advertising towards me and my family than I am one that openly shuns any effort to get gay people more visibility in the media. The only advertisements I have seen that feature *obvious* gay/lesbian couples have been in Diva magazine - a magazine thats primary audience are lesbian and bisexual women so they know the adverts won't be taken badly.

It's about time people accepted that there ARE families that are different from their own :)

It is really mad when we have such a prevelant gay community nationwide, and admittidly it's not something I've really noticed before. Definately going to notice it more now and it's going to bug the hell out of me :)

It bugs the hell out of me too! Like sofa adverts - there is one where two women are sharing the sofa but they're sat at opposite ends, the straight couples are cuddling, the two women are sat a companionly distance from each other

I love it too! All families should be celebrated not just the traditional ones, if the parents care and love their kids that's all that matters
