Hi everyone. I finally decided that it was time to join a baby community and hopefully get some advice and support. My OH and I have been wanting to start a family for the last 5 years but have continually put it off to wait for a 'better time'. At the start of this year we decided that enough was enough and neither of us are getting any younger. In the past I have suffered from highly irregular and often very long and painful cycles, but have always been told that there are no issues. At the end of march/beginning of April we suffered our first confirmed loss which started a two month long nightmare. I discovered that not only did I know very little about my own cycle, I actually knew very little about it in general, especially regarding ovulation. I have now started to track everything extremely closely and have been amazed at what I have learnt. I hope that I will continue to learn from the experience and knowledge the members here have, and that it will help my OH and I to finally have the family we have wanted for so long.
