New to being a single mum :)

Really struggling at the moment I'm fine during the day as Aidan keeps me busy but at night I become very lonley and I find my self dwelling on recent events. I'm really down at the moment and don't really feel like getting up in the morning but Aidan keeps me going.

Also a quick question. Do your little ones follow you everywhere? Aidan jas become my little shadow over the last few days he even follows me to the toilet x

Sorry for what you've both been through it can't be easy....

The night time is the worse but it does get easier, you will still have an off night now and again but you will be fine

Yeah Maizie follows me everywhere! i actually enjoy when she is in bed cos i can pee in peace!

OMG hun, I'm so sorry you've been through this.

I agree with PP, Nights are difficult, but it will get easier.

Also Gemma tries to follow me everywhere, I'll often pop upstairs, with the gate shut and find her stting on the bottom step when i come back down.

hiya im newish too and finging it hard and lonely, they say it gets easier but still having a touch time, this board is great for having a rant or letting off a bit of steam x

I've been a single mom since before i was pregnant but awhile ago i met what i thought was the man of my dreams, we moved in together, i was very happy, 5 months later he ended up "borrowing" money, or i like to call it stealing like 500$, cheated on me, ran all my bills really high then left me to pay them off, almost hit my mom with a car and so on...
it was awful because I thought for once I truly had someone who loved quin and I ,clearly i didnt.
Quin would clingy to me for about 2 weeks after this all happened cause I think he knew how hurt I was
it took me awhile to not cry at night when I was alone to be honest, mostly cause I thought by being with this guy I was giving quin a family iykwim?

anyway sorry to ramble on but just wanted to say i can relate in some ways.

I am a single mom to a an almost 6 yr old son and due to have another one in next weeks coming. My son follows me everywhere, to the bathroom, outside, to cook dinner, has to go with me when I run errands etc....I talked to a counselor who said he is very anxious and that is why he does this.
