New to bnb and ttc #1

Hi! I never thought I would be posting on one of these sites. OR Googling early pregnancy symptoms. OR feeling my cervix. OR actively trying to have a baby! I thought my entire life that I never wanted kids. When I met my [now] fiance, he felt exactly the same way. But, I guess we just hadn't found the right person yet. So, on December 18th, 2015, I took my last bcp. I had been taking them religiously for 13 years. It's weird how unweird it is to transition from trying not to get pregnant my whole life to excitedly waiting for that bfp! This is our first cycle ttc. I have no idea what my body or cycle is like without bcp (I started taking them before I ever had a real period). We basically have no idea what we're doing. But we're excited and enthusiastic about it all the same!

Hello and welcome! I am also ttc#1 AND I was also on the pill for 13 years. It can take some time for your body to adjust to life without the pill and to make your own estrogen again. I highly recommend reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weshler asap. You will learn a lot about ttc, I actually wish I had read it way before ttc. Hi I'm new to bnb too, actually never used a forum before for anything so trying to figure out how this works...
I'm 28 and ttc for the first time, my partner and I have been together for a year and a half.
I'm not really up with all these acronyms everyone is using but hopefully I'll pick it up.
Today is day 16 of my cycle.
I've been on the birth control pill (mostly the whole time) since I was 16 so I don't really know if I'm ovulating or when but were trying anyway, fingers crossed.
Anyway I'd love to chat to some of you lovely people who are in a similar situation to me.
