Hey everyone!

My Story:

31 years old.
Proud wife to an Active Duty Marine.
Former Soldier.
Technically TTC for 1 year (deployments and grad school have interfered over the last 3 years)

We stopped protecting against pregnancy three years ago with the thought that we had a lot of changes coming up, so we weren't technically "planning" (ie: temping/charting/stick-peeing), but we weren't preventing. If it happened, it happened, if not...cool.

...Then the months added up to over a year of zero protection and LOTS of baby dancin'.

My former doc wouldn't count us as TTC for a year because it was not technically "one-solid-year".:dohh:

So, I took matters into my own hands and went high and to the right on finding every natural remedy out there.

Herbs and Acupuncture being the two main ones.

Since Acupuncture, I now spot every cycle when I ovulate--which could be good or bad.

This last month, I spotted once...then I worked out... and then I bled/spotted for over a week during my fertile week. Just, non stop. Definitely put a halt on the baby-making.

Made a doc appt., found out that my PCP was out on Maternity leave and was saddled with a new doc AND I LOVE HER. She took my worry and promptly ordered tests and ultrasounds.

Still waiting on my ultrasound, but we found out that I am slightly high on Prolactin but everything else is perfect.

(I ramble, sorry!)

This leads me to trying out the TTC boards! My follow up appointment is next Monday, and hopefully my ultrasound (to rule out polyps or cysts) will happen this month.

I refuse to get stressed when my cycle starts every month; I refuse to go down that dark hole. Instead, I am just taking it as it comes.

"oh, high prolactin? Sweet, a treatable issue. Game on"

"AF is an ass and has shown her head again? Sweet, another month of doing the dirty and enjoying my wine."

Thank you for letting me ramble!:flower:

I mean all of the months added up of us trying equals over a year--the deployments just kind of get in the way sometimes.

:hi: Welcome and good luck on your journey :)
