If Emily is finishing the recommended amount for her age/weight and still seems hungry, I should offer her more, right like the step for the next weight? She's still having bottles of ebm and i'm struggling to get the balance right atm...I think it's really messing with her, she's barely slept in the last 24 hours, poor lamb is sooo overtired she can't sleep :-( And I'm pretty exhausted now too...

Yes!

Babies take in food at different rates. Size, growth spurts, general hunger. Don`t worry about the charts on the back at this stage. At her age, she will take what she needs and too much will come back up.

ignore the charts and feed on demand!

Thank yoooou, that's what I thought just wanted to double check <3 xxxxxxxx

yes definitely hun. my little man isn't quite 6 weeks yet and he's on 6 oz a feed atleast 6 times a day. I started him on the recommended amount but he just screamed for more. I always like him to leave almost an ounce in the bottom of the bottle so I know he's had his fill. HTH, its soo confusing, even for me and I'm on my 2nd! x

Yes :) don't worry the guidlines, they are just there as a guide xx
