New to this, need some help

Hi everyone, i never knew this section was here before, i should open my eyes really.

Ive decided i like to give cake making and decorating a go but ive never really done it before (make rubbishy childrens cakes but thats all)

Im just wondering what do i need to get started, ill probs start with cupcakes and see how i go with them.

Has anyone got any tips aswel as i havent got a clue where to start
