New to TTC and have a few questions!

Hi Friends! I am new to these forums and have never posted anywhere before. My DH and I are TTC #1, and I have been experiencing some odd symptoms (odd to me because I've never experienced them, but they may not be odd).

Anyways, today is CD14 for me, and since right before my LMP, my breasts have been extremely tender. They were sore all through my LMP and have not let up in the last nine days since the last day of my cycle. I have also been experiencing light spotting for the last two days, which has never happened before. It finally stopped earlier this evening. I know spotting can be linked to ovulation, but I have taken a few OPKs and all have been negative so far.

This may be a naive question, but my DH and I BD'd last night and immediately following, the spotting was heavier than it had been. Could this "heavy spotting" actually rid my body of the sperm?

I've never experienced spotting during O, but I've heard of women conceiving during AF. So I don't think the will be affected. Have you taken a pregnancy test?

It should not. Spotting is usually going to come from the uterus or cervix so that doesnt affect any sperm in the tube or ovary. Even if it is, i think it would take a lot to clear those suckers out lol! Also, almost all of the sperm die fairly quickly if they dont make it to the tube, ive heard the tougher ones last 30 mins. So, by 30 mins after BD, youve got mostly dead sperm In there anyway and those are the ones that would be cleared out.
