New to TTC :)

hi, everyone. i'm Taylar. i just started very recently TTC. i'm choosing not to use any alternative contraceptive methods, i'm still young and firmly believing that if it does not work out now, then it wasn't meant to happen. i had a miscarriage this past october, which sent me for a loop. and i've been wanting this since then, and oh shares the same opinion.
i know nothing about the ovulation cycle or any of that so, i guess we're just hoping and praying.
if anybody else is going about it this way, i'd love to have someone to buddy up with ​

Hi Taylar,
My fiance and i stopped using birth control 2 months ago and i didnt know anything about ovulation timing and all that. i read that you can get pregnant if you have sex a few days before ovulation. Depending on how long your cycle is will tell you your ovulation day. But my fiance and i have not gotten pregnant, and we stopped using birth control 2 months ago. So, i think i don't know when i ovulate too. It's kinda frustrating! Hopefully we can be each others support! =)

i wish it wasn't so darn confusing, lol. and there's no way i'm going out and spending over twenty dollars on an opk. i'm going with the hump like rabbits and take a test theory. lol. i know it probably seems like i'm taking this lightly compared to other ladies but, i'm just starting out.

ughh, i completely agree. i mean, we literally just started sunday night, and it's already frustrating. i guess only because i want to know so bad and having to wait at least a week to test is about ridiculous. haha. the other half is being a little more patient than i am. but then again he doesn't have to carry the little one for nine months. haha. sometimes i wish they had to though!

i know! im so impatient too!!!!! and this will be my 3rd cycle we will try! i told my fiance "we gotta just do it EVERYDAY!" haha. he said "NO, it just has to happen when it's supposed to" He's right, but man oh man am i impatient!

And i don't want having sex to be a chore... ya know?

I am both of your shoes. I have been TTC since Dec 2010, no luck until I found out I have hyperthyriodism. Someone told me that it can be handled and can be able to get pregnant. I just need to see a doctor to give me drug to control my hyperthyroidism. I want a baby now LOL...

thanks we've been engaged for a little over a year now. but can't get married yet, which sucks so bad. my fiance's an insulin dependent diabetic and if we get married he won't have insurance. so we have to wait until he can get insurance through work. but, in all do time it'll happen.

ah, well as long you guys are together and to support each other and ttc. -- dont rush because I know eventually you guys will be married in no time. - SO i am going to call a doctor who take care of thyroid so I hope I will be able to succeed soon lol

wow, i did not expect endrocrongolist(sp?) is soo booked. first call was appointment on may 19, no thanks.. second call was july, no thanks, and third call may 10, which is better than may 19.-- -- so appointment on may 10. cant wait to get this going.

awesome! now if time would fly until the tenth that would be ideal! i've been alright, still keeping my fingers crossed. trying not to stress myself out over not knowing if i'm pregnant or not, but it's so hard. i just wanna know, i don't think that's too much to ask lol. andd how have you been?! other than the excited doctor's appointment?!

Ive been icky lately. missed my period for 4 days now even I have hyperthryoidism. I never miss period, it always been on time since. I have all my pregnancy signs so hopefully. I have to wait another week before I actually check for bfp or bfn. if it is definitely a bfn, then I will first take cae of myself before trying again. but i hope it is a bfp. LOL.

Hi everyone,

I'm new here, I'm trying to conceive my #1 and using only one method to detect ovulation - BBT charts. This is my 3rd cycle TTC.I'm not going to spend money on OPK's, I totally agree with you ladies.
