Newbie... MC 3rd May

Hey guys,
I have joined the site today and i wanted to share whats happening with me as im v confused..
MC naturally on 3rd May, confirmed i had complete miscarriage 2 weeks later 0 my husband and i decided to try again once i had stopped bleeding. Thats been 2 weeks now and no sign of AF and pregnancy tests are coming back positive, but i dont know whether this is due to MC and my hormones are all out or whether im pg again?
plus my ovulation sticks have been positive now for days in a row!

Hey chick, its hard to say whether its left over hormones or a new pregnancy, the only way would be to go and see a GP who can sort out blood tests for you.

hey hun, so sorry for your loss. i've had 3 m/c's.....all very early before 7 weeks. How many weeks do you think you were? My hormaones were back to normal just before my bleeding stopped....i kept taking tests hoping they would stay positive and it wasn't a m/c but they all were. I am now pregnant again straight after m/c so is possible but best to speak to your doc or wait a few days see if the line is fainter or darker..... hugs for you xx

So sorry for your loss. My circumstances were slightly different, but it does take time for your body and hormones to get back to normal.

Your best bet is speak to your doc, they can do blood tests to determine your hormone levels and see if it is going back to normal.

It's entirely possible that you are pregnant or not. I hate to say that but it's true. My doctor said very specifically that just what your going through could happen. Hormones are out of whack right after a miscarriage and it is possible to get pregnant that same month, but because of the messy hormones it's nearly impossible to tell if it's a true pregnancy or your just waiting for AF to arrive. I'd go to the dr to get some blood tests done and see if you can get a dating scan personally.

I was 6/7 weeks pg (blighted ovum) and passed everything naturally withing 2 weeks (started bleeding 3rd May).
Congrats Lauraperrysan on your pregnancy, brilliant news xxx and also sorry for your losses xx
I will make an app at the doc for the end of the week and see what they say, will do another pg test fri to see whether lines fainter or darker.
As i wasnt very far along in my pg i thought my hormones would have returned to norm fairly quickly but over month later they still havent??!
Off to work now so will catch up later xx
