Hi girls.

I broke up with FOB a few days ago, neither of us were happy. We were arguing coonstantly, resenting eachother, jut not like we used to be.

I am struggling in every way imaginable. Financially as OH is staying with his mum,but not technically living there, I had to borrow money off my mum today to buy food. We were supposed to pay rent on Wednesday but haven't yet,I'm dreading them ringing up to ask where it is. I can't get a lodger until February.

Emotionaly,I have depression & anxiety. In full I cannot cope.I have had my dose doubled and been put on sleeping tablets as I physically cannot sleep, but I can't sleep alone, I need to have someone to cling to

I can't stop crying,I've never felt so low. I don't want to spend Christmas alone, I can't even buy my daughter a fucking pressent  I can't stand this.

I'm so sorry hun :hugs: sounds like your really struggling with this.. Is he not helping to pay the rent until you can get something sorted? How are you going to pay it? You need to apply for housing benefit and other benefits to help you out.
Are you seeing a Dr for your depression?
As for the crying its normal to feel really low and emotional, not wanting to do anything but sit indoors and cry and your situation is not helping matters at all.

He is but he is really short at the moment. I can't claim anything yet as he is not officially moved out. I was hoping to get a lodger in but I think I have ruined that friendship today due to my needyness and clingyness.

Yeah I am seeing a doctor,I was having private counselling but had to cancel as I can no longer afford it. I just don't know what to do, I am alone at home, LO is at her Aunts and I dunno what to do,I want to have her back or ring FOB as I can't cope :(

I'm not sure what to suggest hun but you need to contact the council or get him to move out either way. You need to have some money to pay the bills or you will lose it and thats not fair.. :(

If he has left whether technically he is living at his moms or not you are still classed as separated and entitled to help. Are you working ? If not you should be able to claim housing benefit, council tax benefit, income support and child tax credit.

I went through the same when my husband left, its been 9 weeks now and when it happened I never thought I could be happy again - now I am realising that its the best thing that could have happened. We were not really happy, we were arguing all the time and it was not a healthy relationship. The kids are happier as they are not seeing the constant arguments and when he comes to see them he actually takes an interest in them.

Its still early days but it will get better - I was told that and I didn't believe that it would but honestly I am feeling 100% more positive about things.

Try and get your finances sorted out as quickly as possible, things will be easier to deal with if you don't have that worry hanging over your head.

And believe me she is telling the truth. I spoke to her about them separating and I was sure she wasnt believing me.. Honestly it does get easier.. I'm still early days too. 15 weeks tomorrow but I am more than happy!

Here's to 2012!!! Lol

Hun, Im so sorry, Get on to the Job centre and council they will help you with money and paying your rent, they should back date it if you can get it sorted quickly, just explain to your landlord/estate agents and they should be fine...

After a break up its always hard but it does get better, get to the doctors (if you haven't already) and they will help you...

massive Hugs xx
