nice or just too popular?

Noah Alexander

I love the name but I'm worried that Noah is too popular at the moment (1st in the US, 4th in England , 7th in Scotland)

Does anyone (especially UK) know any Noahs? I've never actually MET anyone called Noah.

Me and Dh both have really common names, dh is a classic, mines not so popular now but it's a biblical name and was common when I was a kid and we didn't mind at all.
What do you think?

I think it's both, nice, but popular! Saying that I attend tons of toddler classes and I've only met one Noah.

I've only met one Noah too. I've heard a few at wacky and stuff but I only actually know of one. I really don't think it's that popular! Xx

I don't actually know any Noah's, but if we were to have another boy it would be my first choice if i could convince hubby. My second son is Joshua which is very common and even Though less common than 4th statistically I would say I know way more but I just love the name and it suits him so I say go with what you love, I personally think it's better to have a popular name people can pronounce and spell that you like now and will always like rather than one that makes people wince just to be different lol. I love Noah Alexander too, goes love together x

I only know 2 (1 is 11, the other is 4) and we've not met any recently at nursery/toddler group/classes. I think Noah Alexander sounds great

I love the name Noah! It's mine and OHs favorite name at the moment! I've considered Noah Alexander also bc it flows perfectly together. I'm in the US though and it's #1 on the list. So I probably wouldn't use it, unfortunately, for that reason. I know of 3 Noah's (ages 2, 10, and adult). But I have a feeling in the next few years there will be Noahs everywhere!!

I love it! If you love a name that much then I think You should use it. All the girl names we like seem to be very popular, but they're obviously popular for a reason. I know one Noah who is 7 x

Thanks guys, we have really struggled with boys names, dh isn't convinced but there's nothing he likes better. We agreed on a girls name easily but boys names are so difficult and we are team yellow...

I'm in the UK and know 3 Noahs. Two of them are 4 years old and the other is about 10 I think?

I don't think it is THAT common, especially around here (I am in Oxfordshire)

I think its a lovely name when I was in sixth forum I always said when I was older if I ever had a baby boy I'd call him Noah and everyone was like 'you can't call a baby that people will say hay Noah get your ark out' -_- it was unheard of back then and now look how popular it is it's a lovely name!

I love the name, there is only 1 Noah in my sons preschool, never met any others
