Nice restaurants around Leicester square??

I'm taking hubby to London for a surprise for his 30th and were going to see a show, the theatre is around Leicester square so I wanted a nearby restaurant? Does anyone have any recommendations?
His favourites are English (burgers etc), Chinese and Thai probably and he is a big meat eater! Thanks

Eta I am sooooo excited! I've never planned a big surprise like this for him before and it's taking all my energy not to blurt out what were doing!!!

I'm no use we always go to TGIs before the theatre not very original lol, it's between Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus. If you don't have to go right next to the theatre I have heard Boden's BBQ in Tower Hill is amazing. It's worth checking out the Timeout London website they usually have a load of top 10 lists.

Only eaten at the Fulham one, but the food is fantastic.

I've just looked at the menu that looks amazing!!
There's one in soho which looks a lot nearer so will probably go to that

Theres also a steakhouse in leiscter sq (angus steakhouse i think?) its really good if ypur a steak fan! Xx
