do you bf-ing ladies wear a bra to bed time??

the reason I ask is cos I def need to start wearing breast pads to bed.... I wake up to a patch on my bad... and its literally streaming out of me!! I couldnt get the pump sterilised quick enough lol!!

lol, you poor thing! I don't bother and when I was leaking loads (lots less now), I just put a hand towel under my boobs (I sleep on my front). Breastpads did my head in and so I have to deal with the occassional little wet patch now. I wouldn't like to wear a bra to bed but I know you can get special sleeping bras (I think M&S might do them) so they might be good if you decided you did want to wear a bra. Or, breastfeeding vests (mothercare £10). When I was in hospital I wore the vests in bed, they were fairly comfy!

i usually did until i stopped leaking usually around 3-4 mths

I wore a bra and breastpads to bed for the first few months as I leaked loads. I did try using a towel instead but it was horrible sleeping in a cold wet patch! I was sooooo glad when I finally stopped leaking enough to stop wearing the bra though.

when do you stop leaking??

At the mo its literally streaming down lol..... especially when i start pumping on breast the other one starts going!!

Ill look into those sleeping bras... cos im not keen either on sleeping in a bra :)

i'm the same, i sleep on a towel and have a muslin handy. no way am i sleeping in a bra..

You could try a crop top type bra (no wires or cups) and place your breast pads inside that. It might be a more comfortable option for you and you can just lift it to give night feeds xx

this is me when i feed jack i shoukd put a glass to my other boob when feeding him .

my 2nd da in hos i hadnt got out of bed yet so i didnt have a bra on it was dark i was feeding jack boob started leaking oi panicked i thought i was bleeding or something i took me ages to relalise i was leaking xx:rofl:

I used to drape a muslin over my breast, tucked it under my arm to keep it in place.

I find I leak a lot so wear a bra & pads to bed. I did recently try going without but it felt uncomfortable sleeping with a wet patch on my pjs!

I sleep in my bra. It is a very comfy one, and I don't mind it at all.

It took me about a week 1/2 until the leaking slowed down. My bb's literally went from a C cup to a DD - E when engorged! They're back to C now though, & the leaking has close to stopped (except when I'm too full). I wear a bra all the time (even sleep with one) & use pads - although the stuff on the pads sticks to my bb's sometimes. It can be horribly uncomfortable though, maybe try using a towel under you while you sleep?

Have to wear a comfy bra and breast pads to bed. Tried to sleep on a towel but always wake in a wet spot!Dominic is nearly 4 months old now so am hoping to ditch the bra soon.

are leaky boobs a good indication that u have good milk supply?

Yes I wear mine to bed, but more to help make sure the girls stay in place vs leaking...

And no, leaking is no indication of supply. Though if you are leaking, you're certainly still making milk.

No bra for me...I'm usually so knackered tho that I don't mind the cold damp patches! lol

ive used tommee tippee breast pads last 2 nights :) they stick to my night gown!! :)

Apparently u should always wear a bra if breastfeeding to avoid having saggy breasts later on.
I wear mine all the time as they are so comfy- nursing bras from mothercare :)

I have a night time bra, it's pretty much a tight short tank top with a V-neck. It holds my pads in place I wasn't wearing one, because I was feeding so often at night I wasn't leaking, but now that Bella is going to bed at 7:00 and not waking up until 3:30, I started leaking again, so now I'm wearing it. DH would wake me up, cause I was leaking on him when I was lying against him. :)

This is a myth, unfortunatly it's pregnancy that leads to saggy breasts (that and age) so they'll go saggy no matter what - sorry girls :dohh:
