Nipple confusion, backwards..

I almost gave in and gave her a bottle earlier but when I tried she seemed to be pushing it out with her tongue. I soon realised that what I thought was her being fussy was her just not knowing how to suck on the bottle. Could she have forgotten after one day? Kind of glad she didn't want it though. Although with the constant screaming I did worry incase she's not getting enough from me. She settled when I put her back on though.

Feeling quite sore today. My boobs aren't used to the constant sucking.

She obviously prefers your milk!! Not heard of babies who've been bottle fed for a while forgetting how to suck on them (but some breastfed babies will never take a bottle)...maybe she's just clever and knows if she spits it out you'll give her what she wants x

Oh I'm so happy to see that you and Caitlyn are getting on so well with breastfeeding She'll be a member of the exlusively bfed club soon! ... and then you'll be stuck breasfeeding her until you wean her onto solids because she'll probably refuse a bottle completely now that she knows what she can have haha

now she bites on it and rubs her gum on it, but she doesn't know how to suck it at all. she never took a bottle too.

She's starting clamping down her gums on my boob when I think she's asleep but she isn't and I try to take it out! OUCH.
