thats interesting lisa as it sounds a bit like me. before i was counting my cycles i thought i was missing periods but when i counted them they were 30-45 days.
today though i am on cycle day 53 although have been having af feelings for a few days now.
have you had any tests done or are you just trying after you have a period

Hi Louisa. I am in the same position (some cycles are 72 days, others 40-50). I was up to day 51 and I was going to start provera. My Af ended up coming on it's own on day 53, so I didn't need to use it. Now I'm having blood tests done on CD3, CD21 (which I doubt will help considering my cycle is so crazy). Has your doctor discussed the next step with you?

hi yes we have been to the doctors and the doctor blames it on my weight .but they sent me for a scan to check my ovaries and womb and they found that on my right ovary that they was a cyst.other then that everthing looked normal .so i wondered if cysts can effect your periods . lisa xxx

Im the same, I think my longest cycle was 105 days or something similar.
Ive had blood tests, internal scans etc which didnt show anything and my hormone levels are normal. My Dr prescribed Clomid.

Has your Dr suggested anything you can take? Hope AF arrives soon, or you get a BFP

thanks the doctor said my next step would be to get dh checked and then put me in the fertility clinic.

i would told provera was being stopped is this right?

can totally relate to this one....
i have gone TWO whole years without a period before and then i fell pregnant without knowing!
I used to have a period every 4months when i first started puberty, then i went on the pill, came off a year later, had nothing for 2 years, fell pregnant! had 3 regular 33 day cycles, then nothing for 4months and now its been 5months since my last!
Im taking provera at the moment to help bring on af.

But i am glad to hear that your af has finally turned up!

diddy dons did you not have a period but ovulated anyway?

Louisa, apparantly we were on a very similar cycle this month. I got to day 53 and had a light AF, so my Dr. told me not to use Provera. I went in for my CD3 blood work yesterday and am waiting for the results.

Just wanna say I empathise. My longest cycle was 11 months.

Last cycle my GP put me on the pill for a month to make AF come - I hadn't had AF since mid August and I started the pill mid December

yeah hun, thats right, i never had no period or ANYTHING, then i must have ovulated as i fell pregnant :D

if you want to ask me anything, just PM me hun xxxx
